Complaints book
Access to the Portuguese Electronic Complaints Book (Decree-Law 74/2017), alternative dispute resolution body and contacts for complaints about MargemX services.
Right to complain. Under Portuguese Decree-Law 156/2005 (as amended by Decree-Law 74/2017), users and clients of MargemX have access to the Electronic Complaints Book. You can file a complaint, report or suggestion directly at www.livroreclamacoes.pt by selecting "MargemX / Luís Miguel Pires" as the entity.
Provider identification. Direct contact before formal complaint. We encourage you to write to geral@margemx.com first for an amicable resolution. The formal complaint route remains available at any time, with no requirement to attempt prior contact.
Alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Under Portuguese Law 144/2015, consumer users may submit disputes to the Portuguese Centre for Consumer Information and Arbitration (CNIACC), Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Campus de Campolide, 1099-032 Lisboa, www.cniacc.pt. Adherence by the provider is generally optional, but the consumer may submit the dispute.
European online dispute resolution. For online contracts, the European Commission provides the ODR platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, available to EU-resident consumers.
Supervisory authority. The competent authority depends on the specific service; for consulting and digital services it is generally ASAE (Autoridade de Segurança Alimentar e Económica, www.asae.gov.pt). Personal data complaints should be addressed to CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).
Updates. This page will be updated when MargemX is transferred to an incorporated entity, with substitution of the identification details and indication of applicable economic-activity codes (CAE). The authoritative version is the Portuguese page at margemx.com/livro-reclamacoes.
